Default Hello All

New to the Softail forum and could use some advice.
I ride with a left leg prosthesis and cannot use the Softail slim jiffy stand.
( Geez I cant even see it past the floorboards !!)
There doesn't appear to be any holes in the stand to bolt up an extension.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Dante

Take it off and have someone weld something on it to make it more easy. Then send it out to be chromed....or blacked out. I hope you have good luck. I know a girl who lost her left leg in a head in crash with a cager. I never thought to ask her or pay enough attention to see what she did.

Default A little brain fart????

What if you were to attach a hydraulic cylinder to the left frame down tube that would work off a 12v pump to extend down and retract with the flick of a switch. I sure someone can fabricate that. Hell look at all the hydraulic suspensions out there in those california cars. good luck man....

I've seen some extensions somewhere (maybe google??) and a while back there was a gal in here that said she made a stick of some kind to push out and retract the jiffy stand...
