My 2013 Breakout - Lyla

Rode for about 1.5 hours going home (taking the long way). The 204s + 68t rear pulley turned the bike into a completely different animal. It pulls hard everywhere. So much easier to get moving in all gears. Less playing with the clutch when taking off from a stop. My normal cruising in 5th is around 2500-2600 rpm and from there and on up as high as I've had the rpms she pulls extremely hard. Even cruising on the interstate at 70-75 in 6th, if you twist the throttle she takes off like she's wanting more.
I had one issue on the ride home, though. Once the engine was warm, the engine idle rpm was dropping too low and causing the bike to die. This happened when I came to a stop and was idling with the clutch in and even happened right before stopping as I was coasting the last couple feet with the clutch in. Once I let the engine cool off and got back on my way everything was fine. Same with sitting in the garage - with the engine cool I had no issues. This was on Saturday, though, so V&H was closed so no support. The issue fixed itself somehow as I warmed her up really good on Sunday and went for a ride with plenty of stops and idling mixed in and another ride to and from work on Monday and could not replicate the issue. Have not experienced it since.
I also had new throttle, idle, and brake cables installed as well as rocker box, cam, and pushrod covers. I've had those parts in the garage for months so it was time. I used magnum shielding black pearl cables and all covers that were switched went to black. I'll try to get new pictures up soon.
The bike sounds amazing. No youtube videos do the lope and overall sound justice. I already loved the bike and now even more so. One new modification I'm now considering is adding Big City Thunder monster baffles. The V&H 2-2 are somewhat "tinny" even though the new cams and tune have lessened that. If I can get a deeper and richer tone without getting any louder that would be even better.

I had this issue and it tuned out to be a thermal sensor wire was lose, thus it was intermittent.
Update: I've ridden a couple more times since and have still not experienced any issues. I checked all connections and wires I could without taking anything apart except the seat. I'm hoping it resolved itself.

Edit: I went with LED inserts from an autoparts store by the way. Custom Dynamics Ringz would be awesome, but they're $100+ per pair. I wasn't ready to spend that. The rear LEDs are Sylvania brand replacements that just plug right into the same spot. I had to get ones rounded on both ends to fit the reflector housing because the "super bright" were a flat duck billed looking end that had a lip that caught the housing keeping it from seating fully. The come in red and white in the combination of both sides rounded. Since I no longer have amber lens covers on the front I need amber LEDs but every amber I found in the same brand and style was not rounded on both and thus would not fit. So now I have to find one that will.
