Anyone know of some 1- 1/1/2" bar risers that will fit the stock handlebar clamp? Looking for a shorter riser/taller apes combo for the wife's bike and she wants to keep the stock 1 pc clamp.
You want to keep the 1" risers and add 1 /1/4 apes, correct? If so, look for 1 1/4" stepped handlebars. To give you an idea look at the link below. Personally, I would not use the Deluxe risers. You can find something similar to them if that's the style y'all are insisting on, such as the second link.
Yeah, she wants to keep the top clamp and use shorter risers for better access to the windshield bag (aka bike purse), you know how girls are with their purse. Disclaimer alert: She's making the decisions, I'm just doing the wrenching.
Currently running 12 in mini apes on the stock risers, A 1" riser with 14's should approximately match the current height. New paint and a blacked out front end are in the works.
HD 46809-09 looks like it has the offset clamp bolts instead of inline. This would work without keeping the top clamp. She may have to go with a whole new riser set. Appreciate the links.
