I don't know now dude. My wife put some doubt in my head about my idea of going with a tan colored leather.
I'm definitely set on the diamond stitching pattern. Just gotta grow some ***** and make a decision on the color of the leather.
I still think tan would look good. I'm hoping to collect a few more opinions from peeps here on the forum. This way I don't just have my wife's and mine to go on.
What you think?
Oh, and as far as who I'm going with. I decided to go with the dude who you suggested. from just looking around his website it seems like his price is gonna be doable for me and the quality of his work seems really good.
He stays really busy, so I'm not the only one happy with his work.
I initially wanted to go with a brown or tan seat myself. But ended up going with a black alligator.
Now that I have new paint I may look about sending my other seat in and going with a brown. Gonna have to run that by Nub after he finishes the paint to see what he suggests.
So after my long story, I do like the brown or tan. But usually women know pretty well what works with certain colors and what doesn't.
I went through the brown vs black debate for mine too. I liked the idea of brown, but wasn't sure if I could pull it off on my blue bike. I ended up playing it safe and going with black. With your color scheme, I think black is safer as well. I think the brown could look good with the silver, but it might be too much going on with the silver, blue, and black already present.
On Pigbacon's pearl white though, I think brown will look sick.

Damn!!!! Now you threw a curve ball at me. My wife said the same exact thing !!! Hahahaha.
Go with the tan. Its different, everyone has a black seat.
Ive had two seats done locally. If you have a local auto upholstery shop, stop in with the seat and see what they can do for you. My last seat cost me 135.00 for the labor, I supplied the material.
I redid my sportster stock seat with original 57 chevy belair material. This is the black canvas with the silver clouds running thru it. The shop did a great job.
tan-like a worn-in first baseman's glove......youre right go with it.......
Exactly like a worn baseball glove is the look I was going for. You nailed it !

No local shops around here that I know of. But I'm glad you voted for tan lol. So far tan is in the lead boys.
