Anybody who says they have never come to a stop at a light without downshifting, is either a liar or has a short memory... letting the clutch out a bit will do the trick...after it gets some miles on it, you probably won't even have to do that.

ah, I never forget to downshift....unless there is something shapely on the sidewalk Who am I kidding.... Everyone makes small mistakes almost every time they ride, just do your best to focus and feel what your bike is doing. The second you think you've got it all figured out, your bike or the road will teach you something new.
