Default Shotgun Shock "Finding the sweet spot"

Hey guys,

So I have had my shotguns for a few weeks now, tried a few different heights and I cant seem to find the so called "sweet spot". I thought I had it set but my last ride over some bumps the ride was ****.

I now have it set to the basic setting, both switches up than lower the back switch and its pretty good.

Does anyone with shotguns fitted use the front switch either up or down. I know up seems to firm it up, but not sure what pushing it down does, seems to dump air?

Any help would be great..

Cheers Dave

I don't like my bike to have the pogo effect, so I tend to ride with the shock set a little more firm. It took me a little while to get it figured out, but I'm happy to say I think I've got it.

So, here's what I end up doing.

1. Both switches up until the bike is at maximum height. NOTE - I do not sit down on the bike while doing this. I'm either standing/straddling or off entirely.
2. Run the up compressor switch for another 15-20 seconds.
3. Hit the down compressor switch to achieve desired height.
4. Another 10-15 seconds on the up compressor switch.

Sometimes I'll add in other adjustments as needed while riding, but the above usually gets me pretty damn close.

Sweet spot is relative and will differ between rider and change as road conditions change. On many of my rides I will adjust rebound to be firmer or softer throughout the ride as roads get smoother and bumpier in order to stay in my sweet spot.
