Also, when you get tired of the bobber look, bolt on any softail front fender and change out the rear fender, struts and seat to convert to a Fatboy, Deluxe, Heritage look. Add a windshield and backs and you can go touring.
I love my Slim. At only 5'5" it fits me perfect. As far as scraping the footboards, I guess I'm just not that aggressive going in to turns.
Seems like my concerns about clearance are unfounded judging by the number of guys who actually ride them saying it is not a problem. I will say I am surprised to hear it. I popped into a lot today that had me concerned about clearance on my classic. But I can't argue with actual experience.

As already mentioned the first time I scraped a floorboard, it was pucker-time until I figured out WTF happened.
But now I can't even remember the last time I did it.

I bought my Slim last year and I ride 2up probably 80 percent of the time. We are both extremely happy and never had any complaints from the wife. I have passenger floorboards, Danny Gray 2up Buttcrack, and a Bowman Sissy bar on her. The wife never complains about the ride or being uncomfortable. I scraped the floorboards once, because I got to close to a curb, and it scared the S*** outta me, so I just stay away from curbs now
