No console tank?
Hello, can anyone point me to the custom tank kit with no console (with only ignition/spedo/low profile fuel cap) for fatboy? Is such one exists at all. Thanks
are you asking to they make a low profile dash? cause a few companies make that. if your asking for a dash that removes the speedo, ignition, and indicator lights than you can go with the black line dash.
this is not my bike but this is the HD brand one with the low profile gas cap and fuel gauge.
i went with the black line dash on my bike but it does take more work to make it happen. it is a direct fit with most softail tank setups, but you have to figure out a speedo setup.

Yeah someth like that, but is it possible to completly hide the console within the tank, with only spedo and ignition left on the "surface"? Just want to make a nice clean tank
Thunderbike makes some beautiful alu dash-less stretched tanks with a low profile and a clean look. I was considering myself this upgrade but passed mainly due to three "issues": 1) lower fuel capacity, you'll lose about 1 gal, 2) no fuel level indications (they use Sportester pump) and since I have the speedo/tach combo gauge it's a pity, 3) price which is not cheap... But these tanks are sick, I have to admit...
As you see on my sig pic, I have the Blackline console on. As stal94gt correctly stated, this might be an acceptable option to be considered...
