Dragging floorboards?
Lots of articles I read complain about scraping floorboards in the corners.....has this been an issue with you? Are there ways to resolve this and still keep the half moons?
buy a sports bike, lift your current bike, slow down, stiffer suspension to keep the compression of the suspension from squatting down in the corners, and lean your body in farther while pushing the bike up more.
I will take a different line on the same corner depending on the motorcycle I am riding.
Watch the video and you will see 2 different motorcycles take the same line with 2 different outcomes.

I scrape all the time on my lo. Eventually they will wear down to the point I won't scrape as often. First time I did it scared the hell out of me now it's fun shooting sparks.

I find that I ride my deluxe much differently depending upon whether I have the windshield on or not. Without the windshield, it's easy to see the corner exits, and setting up turns are fairly easy. Still can't be as aggressive as even on my Triumph Bonneville.
With the windshield is another story. I find that I have to lean my upper body away from the turn to bee able to see through the corner. Otherwise, is partially obscured by the edge of the windshield. Of course, this puts the weight on the wrong side of the bike, forcing the bike to lean more.
These days, I'm slowing my roll a bit. It takes too long to heal. I've had a couple spills that have been fairly painful. Currently I'm off the bike till the end of July due to a close encounter of the worst kind with a coyote up in the foothills in late May. That fella on that white bike in the video was very fortunate to not get beat up too bad by wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I was wearing an armored jacket and 6" lace up boots, and still got a busted ankle out of that deal.
In my mind, scraping the floorboards is a gently reminder to back 'er down a bit and enjoy the ride.
