I'll be ordering the 19" Banana Boards here shortly and I'm hoping to not drag them as much due to the slight upward angle the boards have.
Gonna be gettin the 19" Banana Boards too. Just finished sending an E-Mail to CycleSmiths to make sure they won't interfere with my Linby Highway Bar. Have you checked out whether they'll interfere with your Highway Bars ?

If dragging floorboards are a problem, you either need a sport bike or learn how to ride what you're riding.

I haven't checked into it. I know I've seen a handful of bikes that have the banana boards and the OEM crashbar and no issues. I just hope they don't drag as much in the rear.

BANANA BOARDS LINK

I have the same PM Bake arm and Shift setup (although mine is a foot clutch) and there is plenty of room between it and the crashbar. Looks like the Banana Boards are within the profile of the foot controls and shouldn't interfere at all

Why would it be an issue?

That's just plain wrong.
I was thisclose to buying a Softail Slim two years ago. LOVED the look and potential for mods. Thank Gawd I took it out for a ride before buying! I scraped the boards at slow speed. Scraped the boards at high speed for a total of five times. I've been riding for over 40 years and know how to ride. I owned a Road King Custom for eight years and scraped the boards MAYBE five times in that time.
I went to Americade and rode every Harley in the stable. Ended up with a Dyna Super Glide Custom. Can lean that sucker as much as I want. Never scraped the pegs and the FXDC is FAR FROM a sport bike.

BTW still love the looks of the Slim and enjoy seeing what you all have done with them. It's just not for my style riding.

A new FB owner says his dealership sells something like this. He will send me pics when he receives his bike in a couple weeks. Can share once received.

That's the spirit. Your buddies won't be waiting that long at the next turn.
You are going to be pleasantly surprised. You will find a zone on it and enjoy it
