Default 2015 Breakout Stage ll

Picking up a new BO next week and on a Stage ll Mod the dealer wants to put in SE 255 Cams. This will be an in town street bike with only cross town highway. I want more low end to mid range power range. Is this the right set of cams for this? I also don't want to run the engine hotter than needed.

Thanks ahead.

So use 204's. Sounds better.

Check out this link to the HD/SE Cam Comparison Sheet as it may be of help to find the right cam for your style of riding...

http://www.harley-davidson.com/app-c...ison_Chart.pdf

The SE255 is the stock cam on 110 ci CVO engines, but it's still EPA compliant and therefore considered being restrictive...

Thx for the post. The 204 looks like a higher low end but the 254 beats 'em all in a drag race. Not sure now. Breakout is lighter than the light touring models stated on the 254.

Not sure the 254E is a bolt-in cam, it might require additional parts like stronger valve springs....204 and 255 are bolt-in cams not requiring any other parts.

From that graph, the 204 would be the way I would go as you get that umph for around town but still get some of the best top end.
