slim vs heritage

first off, I love our Heritage, IMO its a great around town and very good road worthy bike. I do a week long trip almost every year on ours
thinking if you do get one and take off the bags and shield for most of your riding.
Then in your future you want to do a trip of several days or more it'll only take you about 10 mins to put them back on as you will already have them.

Maybe its just me. But I like the lower beach bar on the Slim. Find it much more comfortable. Like others have said it makes no sense to buy a Heritage and strip it. Buy a Slim or Deluxe and add the bags you want. I personally dont like the looks of the Heritage bags.
