Not sure, I was told the OEM bearings and the axle on a 2007 deuce front wheel were 1". I'm guessing now I should do some more research. Why would HD do a metric sized axle? I'm finding myself asking that question a lot while working on this machine. THX
Just found on J&P Cycles website that they list the axle size on a 2007 Deuce as 25mm. I know better than to badmouth HD on a HD site, but that is just wrong on soooo many levels .
With the 25mm spacers in place, do I need to replace the inner spacer due to the slack between it and the 3/4" axle, or does that even matter? Will it make noises as it rolls around the axle or does it remain fairly motionless?
