Just wondering, Will a 2003 Fatboy front wheel fit on a 2007 Deluxe? are the axles different diameters? If they are, could the bearings on the FB wheel be changed?
Pretty sure 2007 is the year they changed to 25 mm axles. Before that they had a 3/4 axle. You can change the bearings to fit your axle.I dont know if the wheel would fit though. It may have a different offset causing alignment problems etc.
Hi,
Could someone with more access or technical know how, help a guy out and measure the width between the forks at the front wheel of a 2008 or Cross Bones? I plan on removing the large stock wheel and going with a 21" upon my return to NY. Something like a PM Diesel, or a the Roland Sands that are similar, (funds allowing). I will add drag bars later and a whole host of other goodies time money permitting to round out my horse.

For wheels, just email Drew at Dr-Vtwin for prices and info. If you order a wheel and tell them it's for a Xbones it will have the right width anyway! ... As for the width between the forks? Guess you want the width of the hub, hard to measure without taking the wheel apart.
The width between the rockers also needs to allow for the break disk, the break support bracket and other miscellaneous spacers and washers.
For info on 21" wheels on the Cross Bones, lots of info to be found here, been done by other people ...
