Those Recurve replacements screens are top notch.
I got mine (16" Recurve) over two years ago to replace the too-tall 18" that came on the H-D quick-detach.
It still looks like new...
+1 for the 16" recurve. My stock 18 put the top edge of the shield right in the middle of my sight line. I look cleanly over the 16, and get the same wind protection.
Think that's what I paid for shipping, or pretty close. At 50% off plus the shipping, I felt like it was still a smokin' deal. Well worth it in my book
Thats a good deal but shipping to SC is $26.00. Have you guys ever seen them run a special like this with a better shipping rate than $26.00?
Just FYI......
My brother-in-law works for UPS as an accounts manager. I was talking to him about how it seems that shipping costs have gotten ridiculous.
He told me that starting in Jan 2015, UPS changed their rate structure. The fees are based more on size than weight. It's all got to do with the space it takes up on the plane/truck. FedEx then followed suit. If you ship a large item, even if it's pretty light (like a bike windshield), it won't be cheap...!
He said that the postal service did not change their rate structure and has taken some of his business...
Anyone know the difference between the Heritage/FatBoy/Softail Deluxe Recurve Shield and the Nostaligia windshield. Looking to replace the OEM King Size windshield on my Deluxe.
