After a grip it & rip it type ride today I noticed some engine oil splatter on the rt side oil tank, then found more on the rear push rod tube & header pipe. The oil seem'd to be coming out of the bottom of the intake/throttle body... WTF ?
I checked the oil... not over full.
Any clues?
It's most likely coming from the crankcase breathers that discharge into the air cleaner - make sure you don't fill it above the 75% mark on the dipstick (hot), and in most cases that resolves it.
Thanks 1004ron,
I've kept the oil level on the low end, just above the add oil mark. I guess goin full throttle for a few miles here and there puts out alot of crank case pressure
