Default 2015 breakout engine noise

Hey there I have a 2015 softail breakout that I just purchased. I hear clattering and a low knocking on the left side of bike. Have taken to the dealer I purchased from and they claim it normal for these bikes to make noise. Has anyone else had these issues and if so can it be cured with anything other then loud pipes lol ?

Bungee cord and a boombox ought to do the trick.

Did a mechanic listen to it, or was it someone that had no business even talking to you about it. Dont assume they know anything because they have an employee costume on.

Take a new BO out for a test ride and see if you hear the same sounds

Noisiest F#@king engine HD has ever made.

Try a full helmet with internal speakers. Loud pipes still can't drown out that clatter. I didn't really notice mine until I switched from a 3/4 to a 1/2 helmet.

Can you take a video with sound and post it here? The counter balanced twin cam sounds different than the standard twin cams for sure. But I wouldnt catagorize any of the noise as "knocking." I have heard a brand new standard twin cam in a UG knock and that ended up being a leaking head gasket.
