if space is an issue.. than AntiGravity batteries are great!!!.. I had it on my sporty... and now the 15 cell on my Softail.. lots of juice and cranking power... highly recommended.. well.. they are costly... but worth every penny

So then am I to presume that a regular battery charger won't work on a AGM battery?
AGM batteries are a bit different for charging from what I've read. They're susceptible to over voltage charging. 15V is a no-no. I purchased the BatteryMINDer 12v 2Amp AGM charger from Battery Mart. It continuously desulfates the battery and is temperature compensated. The battery is a GYZ20HL (20ah, 310cca).

HD's tenders have additional smarts over a simple $5 trickle charger from, say, Harbor Freight, but I don't believe they contain a desulfating cycle.

lipo power is the way to go now, many good brands out there like alien motion, shorai, antigravity etc...just go with 12 cell or higher,no need for tender or charging plus you lose about 7-9 lbs too!
