lipo power is the way to go now, many good brands out there like alien motion, shorai, antigravity etc...just go with 12 cell or higher,no need for tender or charging plus you lose about 7-9 lbs too!
In Europe (at least the catalogs I looked through) lipo batteries are non-existent. Either there hasn't been enough demand to bring the batteries out here or the distributors know that there is something fundamentally wrong with them to even bother with it.
Losing weight on a Harley is not as important as losing weight on a sport bike.

true on losing the weight on a pig like a harley...but imo they crank these big twins up two times better than a reg battery and last twice as long...i have several of these batteries on my ducati race bikes that do not start/tended for months on end and i go to crank them...and they fire right up!...not saying regular batteries dont work or they are bad but imo they work better..i have a shorai that i purchased for a 07 r1 race bike in 2009 and its still working perfectly! try looking at sportbike vendors in europe for a 12 cell or bigger lipo,i worked for pramac ducati race team for many seasons all through europe and every team in the paddock are using them wsbk to crank those 250 hp beasts...i believe shorai are made overseas as well as alien motion...i know anthony personally at antigravity and his are made in california but he ships to europe all the time
