I did a search on this forum, and unless I did something incorrectly - I cant seem to find any discussions on battery replacements -
I have a 2013 fatboy lo -- and its already showing signs of weak starts -- so I feel its time to replace before I have an issue ..
so, I wanted to hear some thoughts out there on who replace with what and how long your original lasted -
I'm not so confident in the Harley battery, being that it only lasted 2 years --
I went with a Antigravity battery, bikes not going so I can't really give any feedback on it. I see a lot of the top bike builders seam to use them, that may not mean much but I was hooked on the size and weight of this battery at only 3lb and nearly half my old batterys size. This allowed me to hide so much more stuff in the battery compartment. I got the charger along with it

The new one that came with my used bike (a H-D branded battery) lasted 1 1/2 years. Next one lasted 2 1/2 years from Batteries Plus. Have one from O'Reilly in there now. Only cuz they were closest when the previous died unexpectedly.

I bought a Deka battery for my 2011 Fatboy. They make the Harley battery, everything I've heard about them has been good. After saying this, my original battery only lasted three years.
Big Crank by Deka from Battery Mart for about $90 (FREE shipping). Deka makes Harley batteries. I've had my Big Crank for 3 years now and no signs of slowing down.
Its seem the average life of a Batt in here is 4-5 yrs.. mine died almost 5 yrs to the day I bought it New....
I replaced my with one from Battery + ,, make by Deka 2yr warr and it was 90 something dollars.
I just read about the new Lithium battery's that just came out lately, Check Dennis Kirk's website... maybe the best out there at this time,,, That is if you got the $300. to buy one...
My OEM battery is 3 years and going strong, but when I do go to replace it I will strongly consider a lithium ion battery and Antigravity will be my first choice.
I have the Antigravity XP10 Mirco Start and that thing is sweet!!!
It's already jumped started my Son's car 3 times and two other stranded cars twice and I haven't recharged it yet. (now that I'm thinking about it I'll go and charge it).
That being said, $350 is an awful lot to pay for a battery
