Welcome to the forum Rocket Rider. Great bike. I'm glad I saw your shield. It looks natural on the bike. Which one is it?
You can't really move the boards, but HD has the "comfort" shocks that create a 1" higher ride height in the back. You could also put different springs in the front to get a bit more height.
Which luggage rack do you have!
Thanks. The windshield is part # 57688-10 @ $380. No luggage rack yet, just have the Saddleman bag attached atop the 2-up Sundowner seat.
Motherwell makes a nice rack for Slims that attaches to the existing bolts. I just ordered one yesterday, will be here Monday. They come in matte or semi gloss black

Only picked mine up Wednesday but the build has begun. Blacked out shield, Aux lights, AC cover, Straightshots, and a few other things like black gas cap and gauge. These bikes were not made to be shiny when they were WLs. The last thing a WWII messenger riding these thru enemy lines wanted was anything to reflect sun or moon light and alert the snipers.

The bike is low and bobbed out. It is going to scrape things. If you want something for the tail of the dragon, then you should probably pic another bike. It is what it is.

It is easily removed in 10 seconds by simply lifting it off the mounts, it is not the one with clamps like the older skinny fork softails had etc. It's just like the Road King.
