Just passed 10,000 miles on my Fat Boy S bought on August 30th. Quite proud of that since it rained almost all of January and I didn't ride much, plus I have a Springer which I also ride.

Very impressive. Now I know why that seat choice was so important to you.
I thought my mileage was high at 6k since August 31st. I have two bikes too, but only about 4K in my BMW since that period. Your Fatboy has more than both of mine in the same period.
Question for all you S guys and gals. How many of you opted for the extended warranty/with tire and wheel protection. How many years did you go for. I need to make a final decision on this.
Well I realized yesterday that the stock Harley rear brake pedal is too high, and too large. I took it off and cut an inch off of the right side of the foot pedal, then I put two new notches in for the brake pedal pad to fall into again. It is much better and I now have more room to rest my heel on the right half moon floor board. Soft Brake makes an extended pedal in black that sits lower. I am going to give them a call on Monday. I also think I am going to go with a New York City, 1932 style tail light and licence plate holder to mount off of the axle nut. The stock tail light just looks like it belongs on another bike. I also took off the heel shifter and cut off the excess shaft.
I'm actually ordering up the parts to do a similar license plate mount on my Slim S. Going to pull off the stock plate mount and rear lights and use some small aftermarket turn signal indicator lights in place and go with a vertical axle mounted plate holder with Model A tail light. I've got the HD swing arm bag on my Slim S now and don't think they will both end up fitting so looks like the bag will have to go.

I actually ordered just the Ford 1932 light that I am going to mount in place of the stock tail light, and see how that looks. Hopefully it will be here this week.

I went with this plate mount with Model A tail light
and these turn signal indicator lights
I've seen a Slim with these turn signal lights and using a different side plate frame and taillight setup and it looked damn good. I'm also planning on sourcing another stock rear fender and bobbing it, then see if I cant get it painted our olive gold denim color and put it on. Really wanting to turn this thing bobber.

Well you know the fender is already bobbed. Do you have picks of the bike you saw this stuff on?
I need to get rid of this bike... love so much they way that it is now that I can't stand holding back on mods... need a different bike that I can spend $$ in changing stuff...
I just look at it and say to myself: "That is a fine looking bike man!! I would not change a thing!"

Haha yea but not bobbed enough. Here's an example of what I'm thinking, but I plan to only take it back to right near the ends of the strut supports. That would still allow me to mount anything I could mount now using the strut supports and also be able to use the passenger pillion seat.
Here's a picture of a FLS with those turn signal indicators

Same here......wanted to delete the fenders but the bike has grown on me in the week since I bought it...you have a link for those signal lights?
