Bought mine in dead of winter a couple of months ago and had it all apart the day it came.
Had a 2012 Fatboy Lo and put same mods on this one with a few tweaks.

Looks great, sevebou! How do you like the batwing fairing? Have you experienced any helmet buffeting with the fairing on?
So, has anyone had transmission issues in the last couple of years with the six speed on the softails? Not sure how long this FLSS 6 speed has been in production..
Well I tried to add text to my photo but it wouldn't let me.
I got the Fatboy S. I've added some of the tribal line (grips, highway pegs, passenger pegs, shifter pedal), a 21 inch windshield on a black detachable base, a medium sissy bar, Fatboy bags, Fatboy windshield bag, Mustache engine guard, speedo/tacho combo in black. I kept the shifter chrome and changed the pot metal linkage to a chrome one.
I'm not sure yet about mufflers, I've looked at a few catalogs and Arlen Ness make some that I think could look good - maybe not staggered I'm not sure yet. V & H pipes could also work. There's plenty of power but no Harley sound from the stock pipes.
I will order a crotch cooler from Captain Itch but haven't got round to it yet, thinking orange crystals on it but I like some bling. So far the bike has not felt too hot in stop and go traffic which is pretty amazing for a 110 in Florida summer heat. Oh yeh have the Diamond Ice gas cap and just bought the bling to go on the speedo.
I've almost reached 500 miles and I'm going to get on it tomorrow and unleash the beast.
After a Heritage seat, the Fattie seat is firmer and is hurting my tailbone after about an hour. Maybe some more miles will help soften the seat otherwise I'll have to think about what to do with it. The sissy bar is detachable, I got one because I like longer trips and need somewhere to put my travel bag, but for everyday use I will likely take it off.
Also planning to put the run/stop/signal rear light system in with BALs, and I was told that my single headlight is not very bright in a sea of other bikes so I guess that's another upgrade to do (sigh).
Have you posted pics yet??? I'm anxious to see all the great mods!!
I too just purchased a 2016 Fatboy S and are making mods as well. I'll post pics when I pick up the bike. Mine is also vivid black and love the look!
Have you determined the best pipes yet and if so which ones and why?
Congrats. The Fatboy is already a great bike, the S model is just greater. What's a Cruise Arm?
Thanks! I see the question was answered. The one I ordered is the Kuryakyn Mark IV version. This one bolts to the frame and comes in a regular and extended version.

Absolutely Brother! I'm Drooling right now waiting for the dealership to get everything ready. I should have it by the end of this week.. Added the flush mount gas gauge and cap to the list for them.
