Update to the struggling starter issue. I talked to the Service Manager at the dealership (where I purchased my FLSS) today. He said he was unaware of any starter issues for this model. He mentioned that this same starter is utilized on other 110 Screaming Eagle motors. When I described the cold-start sounds, he explained that the starter has to make a couple of revolutions before the automatic compression release kicks in. Once it kicks in- the starter easily turns the motor over. This explanation (of why the starter initially seems to be struggling) sounds plausible to my non-mechanical mind. Therefore, I'm no longer going to fret about it (unless one of you with mechanical knowledge tells me different).
Nothing really to say just posting a couple of pics of my new FLSS
I like that setup. Good looking bike. The Slim is a versatile design from bobber to this example of a roadworthy mount.

It does sound plausible for the slow crank. Mine doesn't do that though. Minor is a starter clutch slippage (bendix failure to engage). It's still rare, but it will need to be replaced some day.
Are there available canned tunes from dynojet, Vance and Hines or any other tuners for our 110?
I'm new to Harley but my buddy just said this about his dad's road king classic. Makes me worry that I should've bought the 2500 dollar extended warranty.
"dads trans went out on his 2003 and the guy mentioned that he was surprised it made it past 40k, that guy was saying that 1 out of 10 he sees makes it past 40k on the trans"

I got a pre-loaded tune for the 110 S from fuel moto when I bought my power vision tuner.
