Installing drag specailities fender brake light

Default Installing drag specailities fender brake light
I am installing a drag specailities rear fender brake light. It came with no instructions so my question is I can use the purple wire from the oem turn signal connector for the running lights but what color wire do I use for the brake light and where is it located?

With no instructions, the best way to test which wire is which, use a 9 volt battery to test what each wire does. As usual, black should be ground.

Check Dennis Kirk website. If they sell the product odds are they have instructions posted.

Thanks for the replys, found the wire with a test light. It is the blank on the connector.
