Doing a little engine work this winter and thinking about changing pipes from Chrome to black. My current pipe is a D&D Lo Cat with the louvered unwrapped baffle, I do not think this pipe is loud. If I keep the Lo Cat and get it coated black the baffle will be changed to the perforated baffle to compliment the build.
I do not like quiet pipes so the Supertrapp is out of the question. I am considering the Rush Wrath with a 2.5" baffle, Drago three step with 2.55 baffle (same pipe as Wrath), RB racing LSR pipe or the V&H high output Pro pipe.
I fully realize that engine size, compression and cams will all play a factor in sound and noise levels. Unfortunately I have never heard any of these pipes...anybody out there heard one or more of these pipes on similar engines? Been listening to sound clips on the internet but don't want to base my decision on that.
I do not want a pipe that is quieter than my current pipe. As I said earlier, if I do keep my current pipe I will be going with the less restrictive and louder baffle. It is a Harley, it is supposed to be loud ha-ha.
Any input is appreciated.

Good idea, since you can't tell much that way- too many variables.
But the same can also be said for asking for opinions here.
The only way to decide is to go out and listen to as many as you can for yourself...

That is easier said than done. Been to a few bike nights at local bars and stopped by a couple of HD dealerships...can't seem to run into anyone with the pipes I am interested in.
The main information that I am hoping to get here is maybe a comparison of pitch (deep or raspy) and loudness levels. Any information will not be used solely to make my decision as opinions on sound differ
Bassani road rage, great sound deep idle. Super great fit. Lots of options for looks. Was going to go with a pro pipe the local guys talked me out of it with a bagger with one. Not as loud as pro pipe at idle but screams at 4k up.
I have a Bassani road rage 2-1. It's built with S&S 97 kit and 583 cams. I removed the baffle wrap but the baffles are still in. I like the sound. https://youtu.be/1jC4QU19mnM
103", 10.6:1 final compression, ported stock heads 1.9 intake and 1.62 ex valves, SE Pro 50mm tbody bored to 54mm, 4.9 injectors, Tman 577 cams and as of now the D&D exhaust. Might just get my heat shields coated black and go with the big boar baffle.
I've got the RB Racing LSR pipe, I like the fact I don't see other bikes with it, the guys at the local Indy hadn't seen one before. He has a Propipe on his Deluxe. I got it with the 90* turn out, if I were to do it again I might have just gone with the slash cut out the back, it's a little loud for someone to ride next to me. Also I've done a few trips from Buckley, WA to Ukiah, CA and while super slabbin' it's certainly loud, I usually end the ride feeling like I was at a concert. The pipe goes together easily, and looks pretty stinkin clean. I think on your slim a 45* turn down would look really sharp, powder coated black that is.
I like the look of the LSR better than any of the 2into1 pipes. Have not heard one but I figure it would sound something like unbaffled drag pipes? When I spoke to them, they recommended the C style slash cut with 2" primary pipes. My tuner said it would be good for peak HP and lose a little low end torque.
Tuner is trying to push me towards the Rush Wrath, if it sounded like the Bassani that baloot-boy posted I would like it.
