Note: HD laced rims have been tubeless since the 13 model year. HD sealed them with a interior ring that has worked well.

After replacing with new tires a few had leaks as the installer disturbed the sealant. I believe the sealing ring can be replaced.

My first HD was my FatBoy (still have it) and I gotta say, the Terminator movie had a lot to do with why I bought it and to this day still think its the coolest bike the MoCo makes. The Low version is really bitchin.

Ever since the Slim came out I've wanted one. It has great lines and is very close to what the FatBoy is visually except for the skinny rear tire, which may be able to be increased slightly to give the rear a beefier look, dunno and of course the chopped, bobber fenders. When people lower the rear with a Shotgun or other lowering kit and the rear fender wraps close to the tire, that's the shizzballz.

Anyway, I've had 5 other Harley's since the FatBoy and 3 of them have come and gone (still have my 2013 RKC and 2008 Dlx too) but the FatBoy has always been the one bike I can't let go.

Their both great bikes. See which one fits you and your riding needs best and roll.

I have a 11 Fatboy Lo and a 09 Crossbones-the Crossbones being my favorite most of the time but the Faboy has a 124" motor which is great. I have ridden the Slim and like its handling better than either I have and it's because of the rear tire. The 200 rear tire, in my opinion, is too big and wears out too fast. It's two drawbacks to me were the seat about killed my tailbone in 100 miles and I hate spoked wheels. The seat is fixable as are the wheels but I would probably ruin the look.

My Fatboy is the first motorcycle I've ever owned that I love absolutely everything about. The SS is a great bike and not hugely different, but I love the Fatboy.

The iconic front wheel of solid chrome, the beefy tires and forks, the general over-engineered nature of the Fatboy combine into manly great looks and great handling. I get "thumbs ups" from other riders and cagers almost every time I take the bike out including today twice.

Can anyone confirm that the S Series is a limited edition or not?
I mean that it could be that both the Slim and the Fat will be sold out in no time?
