Geee that's one of the things I really like about the Breakout, the speedo not mounted the typical Harley on the tank set up.....go figure, different strokes I guess.
+1, guess I wouldn't have bought the bike if it had one of those bulky tank mounted speedos
I like the style of the Carlini 16" 1.5 gangster apes. Any opinions on how they would suit a breakout?
if someone has done this, id love to see some pics.
Very nice. I'm starting with HD 16" apes as one of my tall rider comfort adjustments. They're on order now. But, if after a while riding with them, if I don't get used to the look, then I may go shopping. There's a lot of cool looking options out there. Thanks for sharing.
Those bars look **** man!! personally, I think that's the only thing missing from the break out. the stock drags put you in a potato chip position. Good choice on the carlini's!
I'd like to swap-in a short riser. I wish HD would make one available. This curved riser is matched to the stock drag bar and not much else.
I sometimes attach the Wind Splitter Quick-Release Super Sport 19 in. Windshield. With its minimalist mounts, the smoked-glass floats. It actually fills-in the negative space caused by the funky curved riser, and so looks kinda right.
I know, apes, bags, windshield!... Breakout Blasphemy! It's pretty darned perfect for my needs. It's my freedom.
But yeah, a short riser that supports the existing display-top would be awesome.
Hello,
I like this Ape, do you have a idea where I can find it?
Thanks
They look like Todds cycle strip bars but then again they all seem to look similar. I ordered 12in hell bent bars that Im having installed next Tuesday that look very similar to these as well
