I took the **** poor stock pillion seat and made it into a Rear Bib and Backrest support..
Its not a seat,, it's only for my SOLO riding and having shattering L-3 yrs ago it's great for the Long haul trips I take....
All the above was After I got the wife the HD Touring Rear Pillion Seat,, which is 2'' tall and 3.5'' wider.. Most we need the 2'' taller seat as she had a really bad tailbone injury in her youth... As she only weight's 120 the 3.5'' wider is just a plus...
Here's a pic of the stock pillion seat I cut down to make a rear Bib and 7'' Back support for me on long trips... and it Freaking Fabulous,, No back pain with it at all.
I had it cover and added spots to match the bags...
