Trying to figure a carb prob I'm having. The vac line that runs from pet **** to back of carb and where it T's off, the line that connects to the manifold somewhere I assume? I can't freaken find where it connects and i can't find a pic on the internet either.
I have that set up on my 99 fatboy an I pulled the carb an don't remember seeing that line so it must go to the voes. I've read a vac petcock failure is fairly common so eventually I'll replace it with an aftermarket one an cap the vac line.
Yea I've read about the vac petcock failure. I was thinking about a regular gravity petcock, so I'd just have put a small line on the carb vac nipple then cap it off?
Upon further checking there are two T's, one goes into some sort of an electrical connection, and then the other is the one that goes into carb, and then has that one hose I was originally asking about.
My old 90 evo had a vac line that connects to the voes switch
But I can't remember exactly where it was, it was near the manifold
On the left side.
Blob, it seems as if I have 2 T fittings, one that goes into that voes switch, then it goes on to another T fitting and the line goes into the back of carb, and then there is that one line that is what has started this whole thing, it doesn't go into anything that I can see. I mean if there is that voes switch then should there be like an overflow line or does that one line for sure go into the manifold somewhere?
