Default 2016 HD softail FLSS slim 110 Screaming eagle

Ive recently became the proud owner of a 2016 HD softail FLSS slim 110 Screaming eagle motorcycle, and I'm absolutely in love with it. This is my first Harley after riding my first year with a modified/ custom '01 Honda shadow 750. I loved my old bike and in my first year riding, I accumulated well over 8k miles. I upgraded everything from intake/ jets/ and exhaust/ lowering kit and custom seat. As you can see I'm becoming quite the enthusiast when it comes to riding and I wish to transfer my passion into this new beauty Ive picked up.

Now to get onto the reason for this post. I'm currently looking for exhaust for my bike and as it stands I'm in-between a few different models. I've been researching Vance and Hines and have narrowed a few down for them. First off is the 2 into 1 competition pipes, then the 2 into 1 radius, followed by the pro pipes 2 into 1. I know based off of what others have told me that to get the best performance out of my bike the 2 into 1 is the way to go.

A couple other brands I have researched so far is the D&D 2 into 1 pipes and Thunder header same 2 into 1 pipe. I have also looked at the Arlen Ness by Magnaflow exhaust. Based off all this research I want the best sound and performance I can get out of my bike and am welcome to any input anyone may be able to provide for this. I do understand that a tuner will be required which is why I'm going with the screaming eagle super tuner, and since the bike came with the stage 1 intake I will not be needing to upgrade this. Again I'm still somewhat of a beginner and please forgive if what I have been told is found to be incorrect.

I also have a Slim S and I'm upgrading the exhaust to a 2 into 1 Rinehart, I'm also getting the SE Super Tuner and I'm keeping the stock Stage 1 AC. Research leads me to believe that the Rinehart, VH, D&D and Thunderheader will get you about the same performance gains when properly tuned. So it boils down to which one looks and sounds best to you. After doing my research online I checked out a few bikes with the different 2into1's installed and decided I liked the look and sound of the Rinehart 2 into 1 best. Getting it installed next week.

Hey thanks for the input. I looked at the Rinehart what made you decide with them? Did you get the blacked out model or the old Mil look?

I have the vivid black S and I thought the Rinehart 2 into 1 Black has a great clean high quality look. A good friend of mine has this installed on his bike and he brought it over so I can check it out. The sound is amazing, not too loud at idle but it has a very wicked kick when you twist the throttle. I loved it. So I went with the Rinehart.

Edit: No disrespect intended, just wondering especially you're 3rd post. Other thing I'd be interested in is did you go for the insta biker look > full leather, or the face helmet and race outfit? *grinz

I don't get the line of questioning?

The reputation of the D&D is hard to beat. Some like the sound, others not so much. The Pro Pipe also has a good rep and decent sound. The Thunderheader gets good reviews for power and noise, but its build quality is questionable at best, especially for the $$$.

Bike nights are your best bet to get info and real sound impressions.
