You must work for Harley. I've unbiased comparisons and alli have read say the truck is not only brighter but the VERY best value since the day maker is so vastly over priced
Cmon get in the game

I don't know who's "comparisons" you're referring to but LA_DOG is correct about the Speaker lights being better than Trucklites. I rate Speaker 1st, then Trucklite just a bit down on the scale. Not necessarily on output, but on optics. Speaker had their **** together with their 1st generation LEDs, where Truck took like 6 generations or so to get their optics tuned in correctly, and now Speaker up'd the ante with their Evolution 2 LEDs. Yeah, Speakers are more $$, but you're paying for their experience in optics.
I see a lot of people here expounding on the virtues of putting an LED bulb in their original OEM headlight. They can't believe how bright their headlight is, and either can people coming the other way because of the cheap optics from that OEM headlight. If you're going to go that route, get a Cibie or Hella light - at least their optics are the better if you're going to stick an LED in a halogen frame.
Daymaker does not cause warning on Dash or throw a code. The H4 replacement LED bulb will sometimes throw a code that the bike thinks the bulb is burnt out. If you really want a Daymaker, get a JW Speaker Evo 2 instead. JW Speaker makes the HD Daymaker and the Daymaker is the original Evo. The Evo 2 is the updated light and 1/2 the price.
Thank you. Will look at the JW as well. Cant seem to find the Evo2 in a 5.75"? Does Speaker make a 5.75 headlight? Seems the 8630 was the 5.75 model # now they have an unusual 8630, not even sure if its intended for bikes?

My apologies, Did not know you were looking for a 5.75" bulb. EVO 2 is 7" bulb. JW Speaker site does show a 5.75", but not sure they have the proper connection. May need to contact them to see if they have the proper connection for your bike or an adapter. Either way, if they can help you it will be cheaper than HD one.
I've been using the H4 led from DK for months now and no light shows up on my dash. Great low cost option.
Not all bikes throw a code. From what I have read on here it is intermittent.
This is a quote right off of the DK Customs web site:
NOTE: H-D CANbus motorcycles require at least 1.2Amps of power draw for the headlight circuit or an error code may display. This will not effect the operation or use of this bulb in any way but at this time there is no way to disable this.
