I have always been a sportbike enthusiast and I ride a heavily modded Yamaha R1. I love the thrill of speed and ripping through the canyon on these machines.
I know this CVO Breakout is not a canyon carver but I will see if I can scratch up the coin for this beast.
I can understand the mixed opinions on a new design. Fortunately HD will come along with a bike that will please the next person to a "T".
Thunderbike Customs rear fender with a 260mm tire on the back would be a must for this new CVO Breakout (just sayin).
Ride safe guys.
love r1s got a 2015 and a 07 both race bikes

I'm with ya. This is my second R1. I had an 01' and now have an 06'.
I hope to be on my first H-D soon. It's about time I take the leap.
I'll keep the sport bike too. I need that rush. Nothing else like it.

yeh it was an interesting transition going from sport bikes (all my life) to a cruiser. my "transition" was the Big Dog chopper and given it's FXR style frame it handles corners with much respect for a 650lb bike. I thought I would miss the speed / handling of the sport bikes but I don't. well not all the time anyway

When I was in my 20's I was the guy you'd see doing wheelies on the freeway, 80mph rolling stoppies, and other stupid **** with my fellow band of crazy riders. Also a lot of track seasons and knee dragging it to the last bit of traction. I guess speed and danger never scared me much. Also did a lot of free climbing back then. I'm frankly amazed I survived all of that along with no major injuries. not even a broken bone. couple of my buds died over the years, one had a high-side at the track head on into a wall and another was taken out by a drunk driver. they were both very experienced riders. Have had angels on my shoulder for sure. (knocking on wood loudly)

[EDIT] ok so my point of the above as it related here (sorry forgot to put that in), is I think the Breakout and CVO Breakout will always draw a lot of the guys in who are or were sport bike riders. it's kind of got that same mean edge visually. Just have to realize that your riding style will definitely change. For me that's a good thing because even if I really want to push it, I can't. lol - But I still enjoy it immensely just in a different way that you can't get on a sport bike.

Either one of these CVO breakouts, could definitely tempt me, but the new mid year not so much.

I want the inverted forks and dual brakes on my bike. Those are badass. I have however done all the rest of the goodies on my own.

This is my bike now....

Damn those forks and brakes would cap it off nicely.....well those and a 120r HD racing motor of course. I need to marry into a rich family )
