Babs, I'm with you on this. That was the first thing I thought too. But the more I kicked it around the more I liked the idea. To make it work I am also getting rid of the cross over pipes and going to V&H big short shots. I really think it's going to work. I'll post pics when I finished the work which I'm hoping to do on Wednesday. Just picked up all the parts incl. forwards, 3 inch extension kit, and pipes. I'm excited to get it done.

I'm interested actually as well, just more academic than actually thinking about doing it.
ive had several bikes with forward controls and i couldnt imagine having one without the floorboards on my fatboy- i love them theyre way more comfortable.
