This is where I have mine. Its stored inside the triple tree covers behind the headlight. I am running UNiQ Cycles System. I have the Nacelle Headlight now which provides more room but originally it was in the stock triple tree covers and it fit fine.

I'm considering the Uniq system as well and was wondering when you installed it initially with the stock nacelle, how did you secure it? Zip tie? Was it on the left or right side? I have same bike as you and still have the stock nacelle (chrome version) and wondering how secure and protected the amp would be inside that area.
