What would you do?
I was on a ride yesterday that ended at a local dealer. They have two 07 springers classics black for below MSRP around 16,500. My bike is an 03 FLSTC, I wanted a springer and could not find one in the anniversary scramble. I love my bike it is set up to me and fits like a glove. However it also has 48K on it. I almost traded it for an 07 roadglide - but did not like the lack of a balanced motor. At that point a different local dealer was going to give me $10K in trade. It also looks like the market for used bikes is flooded and prices are down. So should I even consider buying the 07 FLSTSC? If so should I trade/sell my 03? Should I try and keep both - but then I have two softails - why....? Anybody know if the 07 FLSTSC is really the last as rumors are indicating? Or should I just keep my 03 and get my springer jones met when I rebuild the 68 shovel I have begun to tear apart?? TIA!

If you want to trade up, go for it. I think I would try to sell it out right rather tan trade. You could probably sell it for close to the asking price of the new one. Then you have the opertunity to put all those accesories on again. I don't know about you, but I like spening quality time in the garage with the bike.
