Question about ignition coil
I have a 2009 Night Train that I just installed a DK Customs coil relocation kit on. It looks fantastic except for the ugly #31696-07A hd coil and I don't want to run a coil cover. My question is can I replace it with the #31743-01 hd coil found on the Slim and other models and everything still work the way it should. Thanks in advance.

I looked into this and it is not a cheap mod like I thought it was. The most expensive part is the ignition. Harley will set it to your existing key but it Cost about 150 dollars. In total everything comes out to around 400 dollars for all the parts. If you are interested I have some of the parts for you.

I suspect that stal94gt may be confused about your question. I would be willing to be that the two coils you listed are interchangeable. stal is refering to the rocker type coil, which has the ignition mounted to it. The coil you are wanting to put on is not the rocker coil though.
