Default changing gas tank on crossbones

hi everybody,

i just got myself a 2008 crossbones and would like to change a couple of things on it, maybe starting with the gas tank. i would like to put a peanut tank on it but im wondering what to do with the speedo. have any of you done this before?? what did you do with your speedo?

there is a mounting bracket that a lot of the sporty guys use on the Nightsters and Irons that moves the speedo down to the left side, kind of below the tank, but still visible....take a look aroung over there and you will see what I am talking about.

The Joker Machine speedo relocation bracket is what they use. I can get you one!

I have a hard time understanding why someone would want to reduce the range of a Xbones. It seems like I have to stop once an hour now!

I may be off here but isn't that bike fuel injected? The fuel pump is mounted in the tank are you relocating it or are you changing out to a carb?
