Default Anyone riding two up on the Slim

I am really looking at this bike and I'd like to know about the two up riding.

I may switch up from a Road King...or keep both.

Thanks

I own the Slim S from last December now and I still didn't find the best option to go for a two up seat or a good pillion >-(

If I did very much 2up riding I would go with the Heritage or Deluxe. I owned a 13 Slim for a bit over a year. Initially, I did not plan on riding 2up, but my old lady surprised me and was standing there like a puppy every time I put my helmet on!

For that very reason I traded to a Heritage (a 2013 model, also). I haven't regretted the trade at all. The Heritage may very well be the most versatile bike that Harley makes.

I two up ride all the time, just had to crank up the preload on the shocks added the widest rear pillion I could find. The latest edition was the sissy bar. And the rear pegs of coarse. The wife seems happy on it.

Thanks folks,

That seat looks like a Mustang wide Tripper...if that s so, I believe the wide touring seat and pillion are wider. Yours (whatever the brand looks incredible!

Thanks again and keep the choices coming.

I would love to, but it would kill me that one bike is spending too much time under the cover.

I really only ride on the weekends (about 10 to 12 thousand miles a year).

And I don't know if I can afford it.

Thanks

SoCALSlim I would like to ask you if that is the 9.5" or the 11.5" pillion option please?

And also what backrest is that? Is it the HD and is it a quick detachable option?

Ok, let me rephrase. I found the widest pillion @ 9.5 inches that looked good on the bike. It's the Mustang Wide Tripper. I do believe there is a Mustang tour model that is wider. The rear sissy bar is a fixed mount from Top Hand Venture. Wasn't happy with the look of any of the quick detach bars offered.
