Default Words of wisdom from lessons learned

Recently I have been slowly working on a total over haul with a complete change of look to my bike. In November I put on a new d&d 2-1 exhaust and it was a lot more work to get on compared to the v&h short shots that I had on. This weekend I upgraded my pc3 to a pv unit to save space. With the pc3 I had my o2 sensors eliminated so I had to buy new o2 sensors. When I installed my d&d pipes they came with the o2 sensor bungs capped off already so I installed them on the bike. Turns out that was a bad idea. When I went to remove the caps I could feel that they were really stuck. I started the bike and let it run to heat them up. I was able to break the rear cap loose but the front one would not budge. At this point I knew the pipes had to come off which doing it alone is a pain. Once off I tried to heat up the pipes again and have my wife tap the wrench with a hammer to back the cap off. Still no luck and at this point the Allen head had stripped. I wound up having to cut the head of the cap so I could put a wrench on it and break it free. Lesson learned for me was to remember to make sure all exhaust components have anti-seaze on it. 10 min job ended up taking an hour and lots of frustration. People please remember to use the right stuff when putting on parts.
