Default Rear rim mounting help needed

I have a 05 night train with a heartland 250 kit on it. Removed rear rim to install ultima king spoke rim and pulley side of king spoke is 1/2" out in front of rims edge where the heartland rim is 1/8" inside rims edge.I am measureing to the face of pulley mounting surface. I have not gone any further as I am going to need help with the process of figuring out spacers needed, alignment etc. first should I have the tire switched to the king spoke or use rim alone for alignment? Also let me no what measurements are needed to help diagnose. I also have the 3/4" bearing reducers so there flange size should be figured in. Just trying to include any helpful info. Thanks for any help with this install.hoping it goes fairly easy as temps are warming up.

just saw your post....they should sell a spacer that fits between the pulley and wheel or you can probably have one made.

Had pretty good luck with finding things at Vulcan Works in terms of spacers..may be worth a look.

Either a spacer or it will have to be trued..I'm actually having to do this to my front wheel I got from Black bike years back, The bike had no fender so you couldn't tell how far out it really was but I'm a 1/2 inch off on the brake side, I'm lucky though because I can just take my wheel to them and the will true it to the correct specs..And by the way my rear was off a 1/2 inch on the other side. Good luck but I would bet that it has to be trued to you set up.

If I am reading this right, you don't need a spacer...you need to take some off the pulley to get it lined up...I had to do that on the last wide wheel I installed.
