Fuel smell
2008 Softail Deluxe I filled up my bike yesterday and went for a ride. When I went to start it again, it started and then died. I noticed fuel came out through the gas cap. I started it back up and, no problem, I rode home but I can smell fuel still.. do you think I need to replace my cap ?

There is a vent tube that is hooked up at the top of the tank and exits down by the swing arm. If a bike is over filled that is where the gas will drain threw. If gas is exiting out the vented cap and not put the hose I would check to see if the vent tube is kinked or blocked. On some model bikes there is a charcoal canister hooked up to the vent tube and that may need replacing
