Any one using the bubba brackets with a deluxe without the stock exhaust. Until recently I had the stock deluxe exhaust bracket on my ride with the factory Harley bags and bubba brackets. The right side had the bracket with the sleeve on it connected to the exhaust bracket and the crow foot went over it. Now that i have the true duels on it the original exhaust bracket is gone and I was told the z bracket with the sleeve on it for the crow foot would now go on the foot peg. I do not have the right bracket and need to find someone who has the setup on there bike and maybe can send a few PICS of the brackets on the right side and how they go and how they look they sent me a support bracket that had two plates on the bottom of it one plate will mount to the bags the other will just be there doing nothing the z bracket i have i think is wrong for the right side any one who can help i will thank you in advance
I have Bubbas on my bike but I have Heritage Springer bags that mount the same way.(Way cooler than the stock HD Deluxe bags)I had to add a bracket to the peg mount so the crows foot could attach. I also had to move the peg to a different hole.I can take a picture and maybe it will answer your question if you think that may help...
And slow down on the modsthere on that Deluxe and give the rest of us a chance to catch up...
I saw these on Ebay and they show the additional bracket for the peg. Maybe this will help as well. I will be home late tonight so I won't have a chance to take a picture of mine.
I had to use a Spacer between the frame and the bracket for the saddlebag arm as well so the peg would sit out further rather than over the exhaust.
Well Nikon I have bags from a company called Leatherworks and their quick release brackets which seem to work a little better than Bubbas. Im running SE exhaust. I got the idea from HOGWYLDPR. I realize this may not be what you're looking for, but if you're thinking of switching bags and brackets give them a shot.
heres a pic of mine for a springer classic,(support doesn't have a crowsfoot it has a butterfly nut with a tether), those brackets are part of kit 79304-06
