Default Help - Installation Saddlemen Saddle

I purchased a Saddlemen Renegade Heels Down Solo saddle with back rest. I also purchased the optional pillion as well. The instructions that are included are generic and in fact the picture is of a one piece saddle for both rider and passenger. I haven't been out to the bike, but I can tell looking at the saddles that they don't just go on the same way as the OEM. The OEM has two metal pieces that get screwed down in place. This has nothing to affix the back of the seat. The OEM pillion has a back screw plate and some kind of slide thing for the front. I see nothing on the riders seat for this to slide into and I know my OEM pillion doesn't connect this way.

Does anyone have any more detailed instructions for installation? I googled with no luck.

Thanks.

I'm not as familiar with the Heritage, but on my Fat Boy Lo there's a hole in the rear fender where the rear mount to the aftermarket seat goes. From the factory it has a black plastic plug in it and to mount the seat you need to remove the plug and replace it with a seat mount nut like what's shown here...

Hope that helps!

On the bottom of the seat are there two eyelet brackets? One on each side and the actually bolt into the chrome strut bar holding the rear fender on. The seat may be held down by the side instead of the back.
