I installed a stage 1 on my '15 Fatboy lo over the weekend. Bassani Prostreets with turnouts, DK Customs 636v and dynojet powervision from Fuel Moto. This review will focus on the DK Customs intake. Pics will come this weekend.
I ordered the 636v breather with the premium discrete breather system. Install was very easy. Everything fit together very nicely and all the materials are top notch. The hardest part was deciding where to run the breather system. After install though I decided I didnt like the way the heavy breather style looked on my bike. So I called DK up knowing full well that parts already installed are unlikely to be returned or exchanged as this has been the case with most parts in my experience.
Their customer service is on point, they were willing to let me do a exchange over to the 587 system, even though I had installed the parts, (hadnt run the bike yet) opted not to do it though because the bike has been down for almost two weeks at this point waiting for other parts, and you have to send the parts back, they inspect them and do an appropriate exchange based on condition. Totally fair and I would do it if I werent impatient. So I just bought the 587 filter back plate and cover.
Dk Customs has impressed me with the quality of their parts and their willingness to go above and beyond for the customer in a situation that they were not obligated to do so at all. 10/10 would buy again.
P.S. So if anyone is interested in a K&N cone filter with rain sock and/or Dk customs intake elbow shoot me a pm.
I have been dealing with Kevin for several years and always been pleased with his customer service. I've had the 587 high flow AC on my 2010 Ultra for the last 5 years with no complaints.
i used their speedo relocation kit on my super glide. it turned out so well that they used the pictures i took of it on my bike in their ad. any email i sent i got a reply right away. they're awesome!
