I just finished installing V&H True duals on my Softail Deluxe. The exhaust sounds great, even better than I expected. My question would be the pipe on the left hand side. The heat on the left side when you put your leg down. Is that something that you just get used to? It is just a little warm. LOL Nothing that I cannot get used to but just wanted to know if others have the issue?
I know everyone wants to see pictures but I am not done with with the project. I have hard bags to put on than I will put some pictures up.
I have true duals on a heritage and I use a FP3.. have no issues with heat unless your taking about riding in traffic and its 95 or better. ... did you tune you bike?????
I have not tuned yet. Just got to start the bike and the back of my leg got a little hot. I figure riding and stopping would be ok. Myself being short legged also, my leg does set a little on the exhaust when stopped not when riding. I do plan on tuning and stage one in the near future.
