A couple of you have asked for pics of my new LRS windshield. It is the 16 inch light tint model. The last pic was taken at eye level sitting on the bike. I am 5'10" with a 32 inch inseam.

I should have tried the stock shield first just to see how it worked. The trouble was that I was looking through the old shield instead of over it. Put the LRS on before I even rode the bike. I do like it though; quite a bit of buffeting but not sure it is from the shield. It is slightly narrower than stock. I will probably look into some lowers ("fangs" are some people call them LOL). Not really a fan of how they look so I will try to do without them for a while.
I would think they block a little air. I ran em all year
once. Oil temp slightly higher (5-10 deg) on a hot day.
I only run them in the colder weather now.
And they do make a noticeable difference. On a hot day
though, I don't mind the blast from underneath.
Gets old after 100 mi or so though.
