For those who have done the upgrade, did you wait till the warranty was over? Seems to me that HD wouldn't be to happy about it. For those who did do it, any issues with the dealer while under warranty?
^ What Cdonis said. **** the dealer. build it and ride it. keep in mind dealers do stage1 upgrades outside of california all the time. talk to your dealer about it if that is the way you want to go. anyone here is going to suggest buying your own tuning device like an FP3, powervision, TTS, pipes and air cleaner, and DIY. You can have the dealer put on pipes and the air cleaner, you can load your new tune file right there and bugger off.

I've never heard of anyone having a warranty problem because of a Stage I.
I have heard of dealers saying they will not honor a warranty unless you get a Stage I from them...but that is a sales ploy on their part. Never heard of any warranty work actually being denied.
It would be DIY, A/C,slip on exhaust and FP3. My concern was in doing it myself and changing the factory settings with the FP3. I can see if the dealer does it there would be no issues.
