Fork Leak question
Ok I am able to loosen the Allan bolt on the right fork. But left fork is a solid piece compared to the right fork.. How do I get that Allan bolt out

Use an impact for that allan bolt on the bottom. Otherwise, the guts inside will turn with the bolt every time you turn it. I'll look for the video I used as a reference when I did mine but you really should wait till you have that shop manual. The are specific torques you need to know.
Oh yeah......
That PVC seal driver he makes in the video is only good if you have the larger diameter fork tubes (49mm I believe the tool works with). Not sure about your bike but mine were smaller in diameter (41mm) and the tool he used did not work on mine..... so I just splurged and bought the seal driver.

Problem is the other fork I cannot get to.
The fork tube caps are threaded. They need to be unscrewed to remove them. Use caution as they are under spring pressure.
Ok I decided I am going to take the forks and let the local shop do the rebuild and I wI'll just install them.. Next thing I will look at is calipers :-) new thread thank you all who chimed in on this
You should have loosened the top plug while it was still in the triple tree and the clamp would have kept the tube from turning.
Probably best you took it into someone though by the sounds of things.
