Default Wheel swap issue

How's it going guys..so today I swapped my factory 16" front wheel on my 98 heritage to a 21" 40 spoke. Took it for a test ride and up around 30mph I get a hellacious metallic grinding/dragging sound. When I slow down under 15mph or so it goes away. I installed new wheel bearings so I don't think it's that. It rides good no wobble or vibration. I also noticed the wheel sits about a 1/4" left of center(standing front of bike) I installed everything the same way it came out of the 16" wheel. Any ideas on what to check for? Any help would be much appreciated

Is the metal grinding sound from the rotor dragging against the brake pads?

The rotor has to be centered in the caliper...is it? New spacers may be needed.

I have no idea of the rotor is centered. I just bolted back up. The mounting bracket are on the fork so how exactly do I center it?

Start off, is it centered? This is a visual, just go look at the bike, is the rotor centered between the two pads?

You'll need the correct offset applied to the wheel, correct spacers like the other gents said are needed to center rotor to caliper. You might have to remove the fender to eyeball rotor to caliper line up. Once the correct offset it applied to your wheel that should center it up with the fender.
